In the theme of keeping clients secure from viruses and malware, we have partnered with Webroot and are standardizing on Webroot SecureAnywhere as the anti-virus bundled with our Business Care Desktop Maintenance and Help Desk Solutions.
Why are we changing?
Webroot provides real-time threat protection, is lighter and leaner than our previous business class anti-virus solution, has the ability to complete a scan in the cloud in less than 30 seconds, and utilizes the resources of the cloud to ensure your computer is always safe, secure, and up to date.
How will this impact me, the client?
Besides better anti-virus protection, it wont. We will slowly be rolling this out to all existing Business Care and Help Desk clients in groups over the next month and removing Vipre from your systems. This will happen silently with no impact to you or your employees.
New Business Care and Help Desk clients on-boarded after April 1st will be setup with Webroot from day one.
